The FAQ section will hopefully help you with any queries you may have. If you do not find what the answer that you are looking for, please feel free to contact us.
Q1. How do I register for Engage4Business?
A. To use Engage4Business Online Business Network you need to be a member of an organisation that has signed up to the system. Five steps to 'Engage4Business'
- 1- Upload your photo
- 2- Edit your details
- 3- Add your business interest areas
- 4- Upload presentations and marketing documents
- 5- Actively seek new business contacts with relevant communications!
Q2. How do I upload my photograph?
A. Take a headshot photo of yourself, in colour, you can use any number of programs to crop and resize the image. Browse your computer for the image and upload. Rough guide- 120pixels x 120pixels.
Q4. Do I need to log in every time to Engage4Business?
A. After logging in the first time, your Internet browser should ask if you want to 'remember' username and password. Click 'yes' or 'ok' and the next time it will have your details automatically.
Q5. What can I do on Engage4Business?
A. Network, network and network! Engage4Business Online Business Network exists to promote collaboration, partnerships, sales opportunities, supplier searches and event management.
Q6. How can I sign up to events?
A. Your organisation and/or other organisations will send you invitations to events. You can choose to decline/attend or leave pending.
Q7. How can I submit my feedback?
A. Use either the contact us facility or communicate with Engage4Business staff through their profiles. Engage4Business will only add what users want.
Q8. How can I post an event?
A. Within profile tab click on ‘create an event’ and enter as much detail as possible about your event. You can then invite other members in the Engage4Business database.
Q9. Can I change my email address?
A. You can edit your profile at any time. Go to ‘profile’ and ‘edit profile’ and change email address and save details
Q10. Can I contact anybody I want to on the network?
A. The answer is yes you can. Although please do check the persons profile to gauge if his or her 'areas of interest' give relevance to your contact. A polite and brief introduction might be best at first
Q12. Can I send 'group mail'?
A. No. As one of our anti-spam measures, we cannot permit anybody other than administrators to send a message to more than one member at a time.
Q13. How do I know if anybody has looked at my profile?
A. When you log in to your profile area, you can see a 'views' counter that tells you how often your profile has been viewed. Keep coming back to check and maybe change your information to attract more users.
Q15. How do I report an error?
A. Engage4Business is in 'beta' stages and it is possible that there may be some small glitches in the system. Please us the contact form to let us know.
Q16. Is my data protected?
A. Yes. Engage4Business takes Data Protection very seriously and makes every effort to comply with the Data Protection Act '98
